Ellis® exo-prosthetic system is a customized modular system, comprising a detachable connector, a mechanical elbow with forearm with mechanical or passive wrist-hand assembly. Anatomic design; watertight; available in multiple colours and coatings and a variety of customizable accessoires.
Easy donning / doffing
The Ellis® MC34 Connector is a click connector that is designed for use in combination with the BADAL X boneanchored Humerus implant, to obtain a detachable fixation of the exo-prosthesis. The Ellis MC34 Connector has a friendly design, touch and feel with a comfortable grip. You can experience intuitively donning and/doffing > within few seconds > by use of one hand….
How does it work?
A simple lift-rotate-click fixation enables a rigid fixation; yet easy to detach:
Use your contra-lateral hand (see above video – click picture!)
DETACH
Lift and exorotate > turn ring (outward) >> hold prosthesis and detach it.
ATTACH
‘Open’ connector by lifting & exorotating the turn ring (‘open’ state) > Place prosthesis over implant and hold it >> while Endorotating turn ring (move inward) >> check for a click sound to verify correct fixation

Mechanical elbow with exchangeable wrist-forearm
The Ellis mechanical elbow comes in 2, 3 or 4 steps with soft block and free swing mode and an exchangeable wrist-forearm, easy to detach.
A variety of end terminals is offered, all customized to individual dimensions. Ellis mechanical elbow can be combined with other brand tools. Ellis mechanical elbow is prepared for cable guidance and combination with third party myo-end terminals.

The Ellis® MC34 Connector is a dedicated design; intended for use with BADAL X Humerus Implant.
