BADAL X custom made humerus implants
The Ellis® mechanical elbow prosthesis is designed for use in combination with BADAL X custom made humerus implants, by LM OTN Implants BV, Netherlands. A dedicated connection between humerus implant and Ellis MC34 Connector provides for a rigid fixation that is detachable by use of one hand.
After surgery, a loading protocol applies for the user to train muscles and get used to loading the humerus bone. The Ellis® LS Loadset is a practical train-prosthesis that can vary in weight from 300 grammes upto 1.5 kg.

Easy donning – doffing
EASY DONNING–DOFFING
Ellis® MC34 Connector is intended for use with the BADAL X humerus implant. The dedicated design endbles a detachable connection to the exo-prosthesis that can be operated by one hand.
Donning/doffing
Lift the turn ring of the MC34 Connector a bit (2mm) and rotate it (ontward), it will be in the ‘open’ position – ready for donning or doffing of the exo-prosthesis. Once donned, after rotating back the turn ring – a soft ‘click’ sound ensures the closed position – a rigid fixation is obtained.
A train-prosthesis is to be used to train or prepare the stump muscles to get used to the full weight of the final prosthesis.
