Ellis® MYO Options
Ellis® connectors can be used with diverse types of myo controls by use of dedicated connector-bases and the Ellis® ELOC positioning system.
Depending from the type of control, is possible to place a minimum of 2, and a maximum of 8 positioners whereby the position of electrodes to the stump are fixated by a Strap band, by use of one hand.
ELOC positionerss can be placed freely 360º around Ellis MC34 connector. You can easily slide the electrodes (up-down) to adjust for correct height; or sideways over the strap band. The flexible construction allows for width adjustment for any common used type of sEMG electrode (COAPT, MyoBock, etc.).

Once electrodes fitted and validated for correct functioning, ELOC positioners are shortened to minimise the height. A soft band can be added for comfortable contact with the skin.

QUICKER FITTING BY USE OF ELOC
Using ELOC positioning system may save a significant amount of time during fitting process.
During fitting, the positions of esEMG electrodes are adjusted to obtain best possible signals. Once final locations are set, all contact cables can be guided inside of the Connector-base; where the control unit can be placed.
A detachable Velcro strap is used to keep the elektrodes in place. If necessary, a soft cover can be used to optimize the comfort.
QUICKLY START THE TRAINING
Once fitted and validated for correct functioning, the prosthetist shortens the ELOC positioners to maximize freedom of movement during use.
The end user can quickly start with the calibration of the signals and start practicing with the use of the myo-device …
Effective fitting by use of ELOC
NO VISIBLE CABLES
ELOC provides for neat cable management; electrode cables can be guided through the ELOC-holder, into the connector-base of the prosthesis.
Electrode location is adjustable by sliding the electrode up-and-down the ELOC holders prior to fixating them. The prosthetist can prepare the connector-base with ELOC positioneren in advance, and optimize the positions for the end user ….
Once fixated, the electrodes will remain in place also when donning-doffing the connector.
